1. Glass Fiber Reinforced Polypropylene (GF-PP)
GF-PP significantly enhances the mechanical properties, thermal performance, creep resistance, and dimensional stability of standard polypropylene. Compared to unreinforced ABS and AS, glass fiber reinforced versions offer higher tensile strength, flexural strength, flexural modulus, and heat deflection temperature. They also exhibit lower coefficient of linear thermal expansion and mold shrinkage, while maintaining excellent electrical properties and superior dimensional stability. GF-reinforced nylon addresses the inherent weakness of high moisture absorption in neat nylon resins. It increases the continuous use temperature and improves surface hardness, tensile strength, rigidity, and wear resistance. Typical applications include replacing non-ferrous metals in gears, transmission parts, power tool housings, insulating components, coil frames, and parts requiring heat, oil, and wear resistance for the electrical industry.
5. Glass Fiber Reinforced PBT and PET (GF-PBT / GF-PET)
GF-reinforced PBT and PET are widely used in the electronics, appliance, automotive, and machinery industries due to their excellent mechanical properties, high heat distortion temperature, good electrical performance, and resistance to soldering, moisture, and weathering.
